Welcome!

Welcome to my blog, these are the ramblings and musings of an (upper) middle aged biker and if you enjoy braais, (barbeques) beers and motorbikes then hopefully you will enjoy what Janet and I do; we do lots of braais, we drink lots of beer and we tour South Africa on our motorbike, which at the moment is a BMW R1200RT. Join us, read about what we do and please leave us your comments.

Comments

Why don't I get any comments on my blog? I've read less interesting blogs, in my opinion, and they get lots of comments, I don't understand it. Any comments?
I'm losing interest

As a part of the blogging community, do you leave comments on other peoples blogs?

Hi Rob yes I do, perhaps not as much as I should. As a matter of interest when I last visited your blog I got a malware warning and was warned to log off, I will check and see if that is still there.

I operate Bloggingforbikers.wordpress.com and have only received a few comments. On the other hand, I also run another one that gets comments all the time.. Go figure! Try adding some articles other than your experiences.. although they are kick-ass, more topics mean you spark more interest.

For me, its just nice to sit back once or twice a week having a nice read about a topic I love.
So, keep up the good work!!!!

(And, everytime its a pain loggin into a google account etc just to leave a reply)

Thanks for the feedback everybody, I think I just needed to know that I wasn't wasting my time. Your comments noted and taken to heart

From my experience people including myself are reading blogs more and more on cell phones or tablets and the captcha is a BIG PAIN in the ASS. I sometimes don't even bother commenting because I can't read or understand the captch. I wish we didn't have to bother with captcha but unfortunately lots of spammers out there. I think it's better not to have the captcha and just moderate all comments. Keep up the good work and pictures.
Oh, I'm typing this on a computer now and I'm having trouble figuring out if the code is 452 or 422, damn it.
